Campbell Summer Half Term

This term, Campbell have been busy enjoying the lovely weather and preparing for the School exams this week. We are so proud of all our girls’ efforts and the support they have shown each other! It has been great to see them take some time out of their revision to enjoy our new chocolate fountain, or the new outdoor games.

In true Maths teacher style, this half term’s blog had me thinking about the numbers in Campbell. I present to you the Campbell Countdown!

10 Campbell Clarence Leavers

We wish them all the best with their upcoming A levels and a fantastic summer break. At the very top of the School, these girls are about to embark on their futures. We hope that they know their Campbell family is always behind them, cheering them on and excited to see what happens next.

9 LV pupils enjoying the newly refurbished study

The Estates team worked hard over the Easter break to give the LV study an update and the feedback from the girls is very positive. They have enjoyed the smarter space as they have been revising.

8 House Duty Staff

Campbell girls are very lucky to have a great team of dedicated staff around them. As well as the resident staff, we have Day Matrons, House Tutors and our Resident Tutor who all do duties in the Boarding House.

7 Dorms

The Boarders from LIV to UV share dorms that range from 3-6 beds. This term, as the UV have been revising during the GCSE period, the rest of their dorm have created ‘Dorm Decs’, where they decorate the area around the UV’s bed with balloons, paper chains, memes and snacks. It is so lovely to see the care and pride from the younger years as they support their Heads of Dorm.

6 Day Boarders

We love seeing the Day Boarders up in House. Last term they went out for lunch with Miss Dorme and their LVI rep, and had a great time at Pizza Express.

5 girls performed in the Black Artists Concert this term

It was fabulous to see Jane, Anna, Mia, Yihan and Evie showcasing the music of a wide variety of black artists at an enjoyable concert. Well done!

4 sets of siblings within our Campbell family

Although all our girls have House mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers (and, in some cases, great-great grandmothers!) in House, some of our girls are extra lucky to have their sisters with them to enjoy the School experience as well.

3 rounders fewer than Airlie House in our Sister Houses Rounders match this term!

We are already planning our comeback at the next event!

2 Pianos

There is often some music going on in House whether people are practising for upcoming exams, preparing for their lessons, or just playing for fun. We are lucky to have two pianos in House, one of which is in our music room.

1 House Cat

Marge always enjoys a good cuddle from her girls, provided they are not too noisy! She especially loves when they have treats to give her.
