Clarence Leavers 2025

This half term saw us welcome pupils and parents to the wonderful Clarence Leavers’ Event, a fabulous occasion celebrating the UVI time at Wycombe. The sun was shining, the marquee looked great, and everyone looked fabulous on the red carpet. Soon after this, Clarence embarked upon Study Leave: although most of the pupils have decided to stay in School, it is a very quiet and studious House – that is until ice creams are bought for registration and the girls flock out to enjoy them in the sunshine!

I have asked some of the girls in Clarence to sum up life in the House in one word, and here’s what they came up with:

C – Community

L – Laughter

A – Awesome

R –Resilience

E – Exciting

N – New Beginnings

C – Caring

E – Entertaining

L – Legendary

E – Enriching

A – Alarming Bagels (don’t ask!)

V – Vibrant

E – Exceptional

R – Ready

S – Supportive

I feel very fortunate to have had the privilege of guiding such an exceptionally talented, kind and caring group of young adults through their final year at Wycombe Abbey. There have been ups, downs, tears and laughter, and it has been an absolute joy to have got to know each and every one of them. I wish them all the success in the world as they journey onto the next chapter.
